No Taxpayer-Funded Settlement Slush Funds Act of 2026 will stop President Trump from using taxpayer dollars to reward political allies
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Rep. Kelly Morrison (MN-03) joined the No Taxpayer-Funded Settlement Slush Funds Act of 2026, which will block Trump from using 1.8 billion taxpayer dollars to reward his political allies — including convicted insurrectionists, senior government officials, and members of the President or Vice President’s family.
President Trump announced this illegal slush fund last month so that he could dole out millions of dollars to January 6 rioters, his political cronies, and even members of the President’s family or the President himself.
The No Taxpayer-Funded Settlement Slush Funds Act of 2026 would cancel this illegal fund and block any future president from setting up a similar fund.
