PLYMOUTH, MN – Today, ahead of the one-year anniversary of the mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, which killed two students and injured dozens more, U.S. Representative Kelly Morrison released the following statement:
“One year ago, Minnesota experienced an unthinkable tragedy. Our entire state is holding Harper, Fletcher, and the dozens who were injured in the Annunciation Catholic School shooting in our hearts. We will never forget the bright lives of Fletcher and Harper, or the way our communities rallied to support all who were impacted by this tragedy.
“As kids across the state — including students at Annunciation — start a new school year, let us remember the lives we lost and work to prevent gun violence in all forms. We owe it to future generations to create a world where kids are safe at school. My heart is with Annunciation today and always.”
