Kelly is a proud member of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee and is committed to ensuring our veterans have the care and support they have earned and deserve. Kelly’s family has a long history of military service: her husband is an Army combat veteran, her father-in-law was an Airborne Ranger who received a Purple Heart and Silver Star for his brave service, and her father and both her grandfathers are veterans. As a practicing physician for more than 20 years, Kelly also spent part of the beginning of her career caring for veterans at a VA hospital.
