WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Representative Kelly Morrison (MN-03) joined a dozen members of Congress represented by Democracy Forward and American Oversight in filing an amended complaint and emergency motion today seeking a temporary restraining order (TRO) from the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia to restore their right and duty to conduct oversight of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facilities.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Kelly Morrison (MN-03) spoke on the House floor in strong opposition to H.R. 6945, which would allow funds from the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), which are meant to help families afford necessities like food, rent, and childcare, to be directed to deceptive “crisis pregnancy centers,” which prey on vulnerable women seeking reproductive health care.

ST. PAUL, MN – Today, U.S. Representative Kelly Morrison (MN-03) joined almost 30 U.S. Representatives for an emergency field hearing and press conference to hear testimony from Minnesotans who had their Constitutional rights violated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during their aggressive and unlawful operations in Minnesota.

The field hearing, titled Kidnapped and Disappeared: Trump’s Deadly Assault on Minnesota, featured witnesses including two U.S. citizens who had been detained by ICE.
