WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Representative Kelly Morrison (MN-03) joined a dozen members of Congress represented by Democracy Forward and American Oversight in filing an amended complaint and emergency motion today seeking a temporary restraining order (TRO) from the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia to restore their right and duty to conduct oversight of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facilities.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, ahead of the U.S. House vote on House Joint Resolution (H.J.Res.) 140, which would strip the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness of protections from copper sulfide mining, U.S. Representative Kelly Morrison (MN-03) spoke on the House floor in strong opposition to the bill and urged her colleagues to reject this resolution.
